To consult with Integrative Ketogenic Research & Therapies Ltd, and their programs and services, I agree to the following statements:
About these terms
These terms explain what I am signing up for when I join a program or service with Integrative Ketogenic Research and Therapies Ltd (IKRT). By joining, I agree with the statements below.
Who I am dealing with
- Integrative Ketogenic Research and Therapies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales
- Company number: 15159058
- Email: hello@ikrt.org
I may deal with members of the IKRT team or a shared support inbox for admin, payments and refunds. Whoever I deal with, my contract is always with IKRT.
When I can join early (the separate consent step)
Before I get access to anything, IKRT will ask me to confirm two things in a separate step at sign-up:
- Whether I want to start straight away, before my 14-day cancellation period ends.
- That I understand what this means for refunds if I cancel (explained in the section on cancelling in the first 14 days).
IKRT will then email me a copy of these terms and a written confirmation of what I agreed to in that step. I will keep these for my records.
Who can join
- I must be 18 or over.
- I will give IKRT honest and complete information about my health, medication and history, and tell IKRT straight away if anything changes.
- If IKRT finds that I did not give honest or complete information, IKRT may end my place. If this happens after my 14-day cancellation period, the full program price is still due.
If the program is not suitable for me
IKRT reviews my forms, history and blood tests when I join. If IKRT decides the program is not safe or suitable for me, IKRT will end my place and refund what I have paid, minus the price of any calls I have already had.
What each program includes and how the price is split
Each program is made up of two kinds of things, and the law treats them differently:
- Digital content: pre-recorded modules and materials I can watch or read in my own time.
- Live services: group Q&A calls, 1:1 calls, and the work IKRT does for me between calls.
So that any refund is fair and easy to check, the price of each program is split like this:

About the 1:1 Program
The 1:1 Program costs more because so much of the work happens between calls. It includes:
- Set-up (£799): onboarding, reviewing my forms and history, reviewing my blood tests, and setting up my plan. This work is done at the start, before my first call.
- Each 1:1 call (£320): the 60-minute call with Dr Bellamy, preparation before it, follow-up after it, and review of my ketone readings and food diary in the weeks around it.
All prices are before VAT. VAT is added at the current rate.
Paying for my program
I agree to pay for the full program, either:
- All at once (upfront), which costs less, or
- In the monthly payments we have agreed, which costs more.
Monthly payments are there to help me spread the cost. They are not a pay-as-you-go system. IKRT reserves my place and commits time and resources to me before the program starts, and the program includes digital content and scheduled live support. So once my 14-day cancellation period has ended, I agree to finish all my payments, even if:
- I stop early, delay starting or do not start at all
- I am unable to continue for any reason
- IKRT ends my place because of disruptive behaviour, not following the program guidance, or safety concerns
- my access is paused or my place is ended because of missed payments
Missed payments
I need to keep my payments up to date to keep my place and my access. If I miss a payment:
- IKRT will pause my access straight away.
- My access will be turned back on as soon as I pay what I owe.
- If I have not paid within 3 days, IKRT may end my place on the program. I will still owe the payments that are due.
Failed payments
If a payment does not go through, IKRT may try it again. IKRT may also use another payment method I have already given and agreed can be used for this program.
Payment disputes and chargebacks
If I am unhappy about a payment, I will contact IKRT at hello@ikrt.org first so we can try to sort it out. If I raise a dispute or chargeback with my bank or card provider:
- IKRT may pause my access while the dispute is open.
- IKRT will share my agreement, consents, payment records and usage records with my bank so it can make a decision.
- A dispute or chargeback does not cancel any money I owe under these terms.
Unpaid money
If I owe money that is overdue, IKRT may:
- charge interest on the overdue amount at 4% a year above the Bank of England base rate, from the date it was due until it is paid
- pass the debt to a debt collection agency or make a claim in court
- ask me to pay the reasonable costs of recovering the debt, where the law allows
Cancelling in the first 14 days
Under UK consumer law, I have 14 days from the day I buy to change my mind and cancel.
How to cancel
- I just need to email hello@ikrt.org and say clearly that I want to cancel. I do not need to use a special form.
If I have not used anything
I get a full refund. There is no admin fee, processing fee or any other charge taken off.
If I have started using the program
Digital content and live services are worked out separately.
Digital content (pre-recorded modules):
- If, in the separate consent step at sign-up, I asked for access straight away and confirmed I understood I would lose my right to cancel for the digital content once I accessed it, and IKRT emailed me confirmation of this, then IKRT will keep the part of the digital content price that matches how much of the content I have completed. This is based on the progress shown on the course platform. The rest of the digital content price is refunded.
Live services (group calls, 1:1 calls, set-up work):
- If, in the separate consent step at sign-up, I asked for live services to start within my 14 days, IKRT will keep a fair amount for what has actually been delivered to me before I cancelled, using the prices in the table above:
- each group call I attended
- each 1:1 call I had
- for the 1:1 Program, the set-up fee if the set-up work was done before I cancelled (or a fair share of it if only part was done)
- If I did not ask for live services to start early, I would not be charged for any of them.
Example (Mastery)
I join Mastery and pay £2,398.80 (£1,999 plus 20% VAT), and give both consents at sign-up. On day 12 I email to cancel. By then I have completed 10% of the modules and attended 3 group calls. IKRT keeps £45.90 (10% of £459) plus £30 (3 calls at £10), plus VAT on these (£15.18). I get a refund of £2,307.72.
Getting my money back
IKRT will refund me within 14 days of receiving my cancellation, using the same payment method I used to pay, unless we agree otherwise. There is no charge for the refund.
After the first 14 days
Once my 14 days have passed, I can no longer cancel for a refund just because I have changed my mind or my circumstances have changed. I am free to step back from the program at any time, but the full program price is still due. This does not take away my legal rights.
Program length, extensions and ongoing access
My program runs for a fixed time from the date I buy: 12 months for Mastery and 12 weeks for the 1:1 Program with the option to extend each on a month by month basis via subscription. For consultation packages (3 or 5 calls), I must use my calls within 3 months of buying. Any calls I have not used by then expire and are not refunded.
Extensions
If life gets in the way and I cannot take part as planned, IKRT cannot offer free extensions. This is because more time on the program means more professional support and resources.
Pausing my program
If something serious happens, such as a serious illness or a personal hospital stay, I can ask IKRT by email to pause my program. Pauses are at IKRT's discretion and can last up to 3 months. IKRT may ask for reasonable evidence. If IKRT agrees, my program end date moves back by the length of the pause. My monthly payments carry on as normal during a pause, unless IKRT agrees otherwise.
Transfers and upgrades
- My place is personal to me. I cannot pass it to anyone else.
- If I want to move to a different program, such as from Mastery to the 1:1 Program, I can ask IKRT. Any credit for what I have already paid is at IKRT's discretion.
If I die during the program
No further payments will be due.
Ongoing access after my program ends
When my program ends, I can keep access to the program, education and support on a monthly subscription of £175 per month (plus VAT), unless we have agreed something different.
- The subscription starts automatically when my program ends, unless I tell IKRT I do not want it.
- IKRT will remind me by email at least 14 days before it starts.
- It is charged monthly to the payment method I used before, or another one I give.
- I can cancel at any time. My cancellation takes effect at the end of the month I have paid for, and I will not be charged again.
- The full details and price are shown on the sales page when I buy.
Support, contact and appointments
What support is included
My program gives me the scheduled education, group support, resources and calls listed for my program above. Unless my package says otherwise, it does not include unlimited one-to-one advice, emergency support or individual case management. I will check the educational materials first before asking about topics they already cover.
IKRT is not an emergency service. If I am in crisis or there is an emergency, I will call 999, go to A&E, or contact my local emergency services if I live outside the UK. For urgent help that is not an emergency, I can call NHS 111. I can call Samaritans at any time on 116 123.
Contacting IKRT between calls
If I contact IKRT between scheduled calls, IKRT may give me a short reply free of charge. If my question needs more time, IKRT may:
- ask me to book a call, or
- save my question for my next call, or
- tell me how much time it would take and what it would cost.
IKRT will always ask me before charging for anything extra.
Rescheduling and missed calls
This applies to 1:1 calls in Mastery and the 1:1 Program:
- If I reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, the call counts as used and cannot be rebooked.
- If I do not turn up and have not told IKRT beforehand, the call counts as used and cannot be rebooked.
- If I keep missing calls, IKRT may end my place on the program.
My health, my responsibility and results
Education, not medical care
IKRT's programs are education and support. They are not medical care and do not replace my doctor. IKRT does not diagnose conditions or give advice about my medication. Any questions about my own medical care or medication go to my doctor or treating healthcare professional. If something is outside IKRT's area of expertise, IKRT may suggest I see another professional.
My responsibility
I am responsible for my own health and for the choices I make. I am joining the program at my own risk.
Results
- Results vary from person to person, and there is no guarantee my mental health will improve.
- Outcomes depend on many things, including my biology, my medication, my existing health conditions and how much I am able to take part.
- Changing my diet may reveal health conditions I did not know about, or change how existing conditions show up. These may need checking or treatment by my doctor.
- The science behind Ketogenic Metabolic Therapy is still developing.
Taking part safely
To keep me safe and keep the program working well for everyone, I agree to take part in good faith and follow the guidance the IKRT team gives me. This includes:
- following my agreed nutrition plan and targets
- avoiding alcohol and recreational drugs where advised
- not changing my medication without my own doctor or treating healthcare professional overseeing it
- following the safety guidance I am given
If the IKRT team reasonably believes I am not following this guidance, or that my actions put my safety or other people's safety at risk, or stop the program from running properly, IKRT may end my place on the program. Where it is safe to do so, IKRT will talk to me about it first. If this happens after my 14-day cancellation period, the full program price is still due and no refund is given.
Risks and liability
Changing my diet and lifestyle carries risks, including the risk of harm or, very rarely, death. I accept these risks. IKRT, Dr Erin Louise Bellamy and the IKRT team are not responsible for what happens to me as a result of choices I make on the program.
If IKRT is responsible for a loss I suffer, IKRT's total responsibility is limited to the amount I have paid for my program. IKRT is not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been expected when I joined, or for any business losses.
Other products and costs
I pay for anything I need from other companies, such as a Keto-Mojo meter and strips, apps, blood tests, food and supplements. These are not included in the program price. IKRT is not responsible for other companies' products or services.
Technology, privacy and IKRT's materials
Technology I need
The programs are delivered online. To take part, I need to be able to:
- use email and a calendar reliably
- fill in Google and other online forms on time
- buy the items I need online
- track my food with an app such as MyFitnessPal
- measure my blood ketones with a Keto-Mojo meter
- join and take part in Zoom calls
- take part in the online community
IKRT does not provide one-to-one technical support, and I am expected to manage these tools myself. If I have a disability or health condition that makes any of this hard, I will tell IKRT before I join so we can talk about what reasonable adjustments can be made. Difficulty with technology on its own is not a reason for extra support, exceptions or refunds.
Confidentiality in group spaces
Group calls and the community are shared spaces, so IKRT cannot guarantee confidentiality there. Everyone in the community agrees to the Community Privacy Agreement, which is part of the IKRT Privacy and Permissions Agreement. IKRT never records group calls. If IKRT learns that someone has broken it, that person will be removed from the community.
My data
IKRT stores and uses my data as set out in the IKRT Privacy and Permissions Agreement and the IKRT Privacy Policy.
IKRT's materials and AI
- All educational materials and community content belong to IKRT. I will not copy, share, sell or reproduce them without IKRT's written permission.
- I will not upload IKRT's materials into AI tools to share them or use them commercially.
- If I am a healthcare professional, educator, coach, researcher or other professional, I will not use, teach, share or repurpose IKRT's content, materials, frameworks or learnings in my own work without IKRT's written permission. I will not use or share what other members tell me or go through for these purposes either.
Other things I should know
Changes to the program
IKRT may update materials, schedules, platforms and content to improve the program or reflect new evidence. These changes will not take away the main things I paid for.
Offers and quotes
Unless IKRT says otherwise in writing, any quote, offer or discount is valid for 3 months from the date it is given. After that, prices, program content and availability may change.
Things outside IKRT's control
IKRT is not responsible for delays or problems caused by events it cannot control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes or internet failures. If this happens, IKRT will tell me as soon as possible and will pick things back up once the problem is over.
If IKRT cannot deliver my program
If IKRT has to cancel calls, for example because Dr Bellamy is ill, IKRT will rearrange them. If IKRT stops running my program, cannot deliver a large part of it, or changes it in a way that takes away the main things I paid for, I can choose to end my place. IKRT will then refund the part of the price for anything not delivered, using the price split in these terms.
Complaints and concerns
If I am unhappy with the program or my support, I will email hello@ikrt.org. Complaints about my own care will not be discussed in the community or on group calls, as these spaces are for education and peer support for everyone.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If I live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, I can also take a claim to the courts where I live. If I live outside the UK, I may also have rights under the law of the country I live in.
How these terms fit together
My agreement with IKRT is made up of:
- these terms
- the IKRT Privacy and Permissions Agreement
- the consents I gave in the separate step at sign-up
If these terms and the Privacy and Permissions Agreement say different things, these terms apply, except on how my data is used, where the Privacy and Permissions Agreement applies. What the sales page says about my program is also part of what I am buying.
Changes to these terms
IKRT may update these terms from time to time. Changes will not apply to a program I have already paid for, unless the law requires it or the change is minor and does not affect me. For the ongoing subscription, IKRT will give me at least 30 days' notice by email before a change applies, and I can cancel before then.
If part of these terms cannot be enforced
If a court decides any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
My agreement
By signing this document I have read and understood these terms. I agree to follow the program guidance and accept these terms.
